Hi, i’m david dawson
I grew up in the Yorkshire Dales where I fell in love with the outdoors. Out of school I would spend my time hiking and camping in the Dales and Lakes.
I studied medicine at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine in London and completed my training in Kent.
I went on to study for a diploma in tropical medicine and then spent a year working in a malnutrition clinic in East Timor.
Working as a GP over the last 10 years I have seen first hand the beneficial impacts healthy eating, regular exercise, quality sleep, stress reduction and healthy relationships can have on our health.
These lifestyle factors can contribute to many common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnoea, arthritis, low mood and anxiety.
I am passionate about empowering people to take control of their health.
Working together, I will help you identify changes that will have lasting benefits for your health and wellbeing.
